Yeah, the full name for our police force here is "An Garda Síochána" which translates to "Guardians of the peace"

Although I absolutely despise my current psychiatrist mostly because she keeps trying to section/involuntarily hospitalize me, and it's kinda nice fantasizing about doing something like this in her office

Maybe he was pushed, perhaps by family, into having a surgical procedure he didn't to have? Maybe the impending surgery was the result of a doctor's mistake and he was angry?

Maybe the media will provide a motive.

Hope the doctor and the medical staff are okay and not traumatized and may the gentleman who shot himself rest in peace.
