Lose Bruce is just another mentally ill leftist. Actually, that's redundant since all leftists are mentally ill.
One big facet of mental illness is being out of touch with reality. That would definitely apply to people who say global warming isn't happening
We have warming trends, and we have cooling trends. That's weather. That's all it is. I like to ask the climate wackos to explain how the earth warmed up after the last Ice Age, because we "modern" humans, the so called "disease" of the planet, weren't around. Our ape-like ancestors were around, but they had no cars, no factories, no asphalt paved roads, etc. How did we warm up to a more livable climate? They have no answer.
I'm all for recycling and cleaner burning gas engines and less pollution, and I think we in the US have made great strides in this endeavor. The overboard fantasies of the leftist elites are just that. Fantasy! On the scale of life on this planet, we are in a tiny uptick of a warming trend equal to the blink of an eye in a person's average life span.

Put your money where your mouth is . If you don't believe in climate change I hope to see your capital invested on the opposite side of me in weather futures and insurance markets .

As for how the earth warmed up after the last ice age this is settled science.

Look, I understand you may be a frustrated American male worried about threats to your culture. I get it that the pickup trucks are getting more expensive and it's becoming harder and harder to compensate for the small penis. But reality is what it is - our world is warming. And checking the ballot for a Republican is never going to change reality no matter what you say

Poles Shifting.

Is not responsible for global warming. The pick up trucks driven by millions of people to their white collar occupations (driven for their ego, not used to transport equipment or goods) in the USA is.

I don't own a pick up you ignorant asshole. You seem to be fascinated by the size of my dick. I guess you're a pervert too.

But you do deny global warming. Which makes you a loser incapable of accepting truth.

History has not and will not be kind to your type.

We really should just agree to disagree and not be so cruel to each other. Life is sucking enough for us, why make each other more miserable than we already are? :/

You must have not been taught this one by your parents:

Don't believe everything you see on TV.

Consensus reality : global warming is happening. This is verifiable in financial and insurance markets. I beg of you to please take financial positions in companies with assets in areas exposed to the risks. I can always use more free money from gullible republicans

I'm glad to see a respectful article about this person. I feel like now his intended message has been heard to some possibly meaningful extent, which I think would make his horrible suffering worthwhile to him. May he rest in PEACE.

I'd seen mention of this Thich Nhat Hanh quotation elsewhere and was pleased to see it in the article, too.

"... To burn oneself by fire is to prove that what one is saying is of the utmost importance. There is nothing more painful than burning oneself. To say something while experiencing this kind of pain is to say it with utmost courage, frankness, determination, and sincerity."

I understand having concern for the environment, but I can't understand caring so much that you will burn yourself to death over it. That is one of the most horrific ways to die, I think. The climate matters, but one's personal life and relationships matter a great deal more, IMO. Another point is that I don't feel a fondness to nature or "mother earth" because it has never been the kindest of places, it has fostered cruelty in different forms like disease and predation. So if it all burns, I won't be shedding any tears.

Not due to environmental politics specifically, but the political state of the world makes me want to CTB.

I cannost stand living in a world that is again becoming increasingly right wing, nationalistic and fascist. I don't want to be a part of it

There are many people whose opinions disgust me. I'll definitely be happy not to have to deal with them ever again once I die. I don't think there will be a right-wing takeover, if that did happen though, yeah that would be a nightmare, although I think a left-wing hegemony would also have problems. Ideas associated more with the right like opposing suicide, glorifying god and the 'natural order', glorifying all tradition unquestionably (like defending circumcision, an absolutely indefensible and barbaric practice), commanding subservience to the community for 'the greater good', and especially the futile insistence of free will irritate me the most.

I'm pretty certain that no US state is communist.
You'd be surprised.

There are US states that are primarily left wing (which is one of the things they mentioned) such as California and New York.

Perhaps, but the US left is pretty much the Swedish right. To claim communism is quite the leap.

I'm sorry, I just assumed you lived in the States. Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking?
I live in a poor, crowded, crime infested, thug infested, roach and rat infested third world shithole neighborhood in The Bronx, New York.
I'm too poor to move out. It's all good in the hood though.....Right?....no, not really.

You own your place or do you rent. If you own, you could sell that shithole to some rich prick and move somewhere else that has a lower cost of living and still be with like-minded individuals. Just don't come to Florida, we got enough New Yorkers here.

I rent unfortunately. I wouldn't move to Florida. I hate hot weather. I don't blame you in not wanting any more New Yorkers. Florida is like our sixth borough.
