Definitely scarred everyone around them, so not a good method imo.

Also, not open to very many people.

I have also seen a ww2 video documentary about a famous bomber, and a quick b-story was how a technician accidentally got sucked into an engine but survived. Not a guaranteed way to ctb.

At least now he cannot suffer anymore, rest in peace. I think that someone must be very courageous to choose a method like that.
