• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Yes. I live in Hungary.
Corruption, poverty, slavery, no opportunities, rude and stupid people who don't "believe" in depression or any kind of mental health problems. If you want to kill yourself, you'll get told to "just work more, you won't have time to be depressed 🙂"
the only work opportunities are in factories, working 3 shifts for a very minimum wage. Most hungarians never take vacations, not even within the country, because they don't have money.
Women are very strongly encouraged to push out at least 3 children out of themselves, because then you'll get money from the government. The more kids you give birth to, the less money you have to pay back. Disgusting.
Everyone is drowning in debts. And everyone is so fucking unhappy, but we just accept it and never do anything about it. It is a shame because the nature is beautiful, the food is amazing... But yes, I hate my country and I wish to go far away from here.

I understand what you all mean. I'm in the US and I hate it here sooooo much. It's all a bunch of greedy people with their politics. It makes me depressed so much. I'll be glad to be gone and not have to worry about any of that anymore.

I think political corruption and obsession with distracting sports is the norm world wide. It's not an issue of a country. It's an issue of humanity. It's a story as old as civilization itself.

Indian here and I'm with you. We're taxed to the breaking point to make up for the government's mind numbing incompetence and corruption while getting nothing in return. Not even clean water for which we have to pay a hefty amount periodically or install pricey purifiers that need servicing every month because the water pollution keeps overwhelming the filters.

Our "free" public schools are staffed by lazy, incompetent, unqualified morons who hardly show up and know they'll always have a job as long as they support the right politicians. The curriculum and teaching methodology in the ridiculously expensive private schools are stuck in the industrial age. Roads stay fixed for less than two months out of the year because half or more of the budget allotted for their upkeep is lost to bribes.

Healthcare is just as big of a joke with even moderately decent care only available to the wealthy. Word of advice, if you go to a free public hospital in india, your chances of survival, even for easily treatable infections, drops to 50-50. As usual the doctors are political appointees who'll never be fired for malpractice.

Food, basic utilities, transport and housing are becoming increasingly expensive and out of reach for my economic bracket. India has 1/40th the GDP of the US but housing prices in the major cities are equal or close to those in US cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. It's obvious that my govt. has set itself to destroy the middle class and usher in a new feudal age.

There's zero hope for me. I'm too old to emigrate abroad for a better life and my career is dying. Ctb is the only way out.

Same. I lost insurance after my parents didn't qualify and immediately got appendicitis. No insurance, 23k, no help from the hospital whatsoever. I fucking hate my country. Made the stress in my life a thousand times worse

Hah I read the title and thought "I wonder if he's also from argentina". My family has a history of government-related tragedies and some insane laws are making my life impossible and greatly contributed to my depression.

I wonder if we were born in the wrong countries, I often imagine myself living in other countries like Japan.

JAja este pais es una mierda y yo soy demasiado pobre, poco instruido y me estoy volviendo viejo como para poder irme.

Well i live in a country that's pretty much known for having a suicide stereotype. And the country itself is depressing as hell with post soviet houses and stuff :pfff: then there's stuff like expensive rent, bad wages, etc. I admire some other countries. I'd like to travel to south korea one day, i know living there isn't ideal either due to pressure from others (far as i've heard from people that lived there) but at least it looks pretty.

No sabia que El Salvador era un pais tan religioso, es un poco contradictorio con todo el tema de las maras y la violencia pero supongo que lo mismo sucede en paises como Mexico. La naturaleza humana es extraña...

yeah I have seen videos of India and I think that if I lived there I would go crazy. I have seen videos of tourists who go for a few days and start crying because they can't stand being there, it's incredible.

In this country they also pay you to have children, it's stupid. It's called "universal child allowance" and the only thing it does is reproduce more poor people.

New Zealand- "bleak" is the only word for this place. It's just so, so, so isolated, so lonely, so desolate and scarce of anything that isn't nice scenery. No community, no culture nothing interesting or fun ever happens. It's also utterly cripplingly expensive. There is a strong feeling of being quarantined at the end of the earth while everything and everyone exists elsewhere.

The internet adds to this seeing things happening elsewhere that I can't be part of. Like the ice cream vans music can be heard but it's on the other side of town.

Same lol. I live in Brazil aswell, it sucks really bad. Japan sounds like a great country, even though i wouldn't like to be born there cause i'd surely be depressed living by their lifestyle, i'd love to go there sometime.
