Is the same thing happening to anyone else? im from Argentina and I can't stand living here... everything is politics, football (soccer) and pure shit.
As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.
Same here, and I'm your neighbour - live in Brazil. Football, carnival and samba defines the culture - don't know how I like less. I'm sure I was misguided on my birth T.T
Hah I read the title and thought "I wonder if he's also from argentina". My family has a history of government-related tragedies and some insane laws are making my life impossible and greatly contributed to my depression.
I'll ctb because of my country, I mean I can't have a partner cause I'm homosexual and it's not illegal but it's so hard, so religious country in every corner a church even in buses some people get on and speak like it was the church I know I won't be happy here I'm from El Salvador Central America we are so behind in rights I hate here I can't emigrate cause it's so hard for me so much requirements and I already had accepted fate and stay here and be unhappy and alive but suddenly I just can't, it depresses me I want a partner and be more free and in my country I just won't have that, I wish I was born in good country for lgbt and better life quality anyways yes living here causes me more depression and anxiety.
Indian here and I'm with you. We're taxed to the breaking point to make up for the government's mind numbing incompetence and corruption while getting nothing in return. Not even clean water for which we have to pay a hefty amount periodically or install pricey purifiers that need servicing every month because the water pollution keeps overwhelming the filters.
Our "free" public schools are staffed by lazy, incompetent, unqualified morons who hardly show up and know they'll always have a job as long as they support the right politicians. The curriculum and teaching methodology in the ridiculously expensive private schools are stuck in the industrial age. Roads stay fixed for less than two months out of the year because half or more of the budget allotted for their upkeep is lost to bribes.
Healthcare is just as big of a joke with even moderately decent care only available to the wealthy. Word of advice, if you go to a free public hospital in india, your chances of survival, even for easily treatable infections, drops to 50-50. As usual the doctors are political appointees who'll never be fired for malpractice.
Food, basic utilities, transport and housing are becoming increasingly expensive and out of reach for my economic bracket. India has 1/40th the GDP of the US but housing prices in the major cities are equal or close to those in US cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. It's obvious that my govt. has set itself to destroy the middle class and usher in a new feudal age.
There's zero hope for me. I'm too old to emigrate abroad for a better life and my career is dying. Ctb is the only way out.
In this country they also pay you to have children, it's stupid. It's called "universal child allowance" and the only thing it does is reproduce more poor people.Yes. I live in Hungary.
Corruption, poverty, slavery, no opportunities, rude and stupid people who don't "believe" in depression or any kind of mental health problems. If you want to kill yourself, you'll get told to "just work more, you won't have time to be depressed"
the only work opportunities are in factories, working 3 shifts for a very minimum wage. Most hungarians never take vacations, not even within the country, because they don't have money.
Women are very strongly encouraged to push out at least 3 children out of themselves, because then you'll get money from the government. The more kids you give birth to, the less money you have to pay back. Disgusting.
Everyone is drowning in debts. And everyone is so fucking unhappy, but we just accept it and never do anything about it. It is a shame because the nature is beautiful, the food is amazing... But yes, I hate my country and I wish to go far away from here.
turk here... yeahIs the same thing happening to anyone else? im from Argentina and I can't stand living here... everything is politics, football (soccer) and pure shit.
Same lol. I live in Brazil aswell, it sucks really bad. Japan sounds like a great country, even though i wouldn't like to be born there cause i'd surely be depressed living by their lifestyle, i'd love to go there sometime.I wonder if we were born in the wrong countries, I often imagine myself living in other countries like Japan.
