• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

(sn experts feel free to dm)

Okay so! Family member I live with just found my SN and googled it, and found what you'd expect to find. They threw it out but it's nothing a little dumpster diving didn't solve (it's vacuum sealed, no contamination.) I'm out on a little drive right now, and might need to store my sn in said car. Problem is, it's the middle of summer and this shit BOILS when parked. Is it still ok to keep it in these temperatures without it decomposing?

It can melt at high temperatures, and if you literally mean boil (which I know you aren't, but whatever) it explodes at 530 degrees Celsius

What I'm worried about is the prolonged exposure to heat. Worst case scenario the inside of this car gets to 60C
It can turn into a different type of chemical (Sodium Nitrosamines,) but it is close enough that it requires the same dose and everything.

Put it into an absolutely 100% waterproof container and bury it in the ground where only you know it is.

Amazing idea holy. It came in a vacuum sealed bag so it's perfect. Also my apartment lobby has drawers nobody uses. Lobby's airconned so it's also perfect. Got 2 packages, will store 1 in both places.

Yeah, I'd still put it in something else too. Maybe like a good glass jar with a sealed lid or something like that. They make waterproof plastic containers, too. Google waterproof containers. Not sure how secure those "drawers that nobody uses" are - curious minds might decide to look there someday. But, do whatever you feel comfortable with.
