Well said. I don't like how we are born to serve those who have more than enough and keep them afloat, while they do nothing to ensure that we survive. It's human greed, and its absolutely nasty.

agreed. its an awful way of life. and they sell it in my country as the 'american dream' "go to college and take out 100k in student loans, graduate and in a lot of cases still not get a job in you major, settle for a 13 dollar an hour job, get married for 30k because they tell you that you have to have a dream wedding, take out another loan to buy a house, have kids you cant afford, then somehow either pay for their college so they dont have an awful life or leave them the burden of being in debt forever just like you." then the cycle continues.

I'm on my way into another day of work now. I'm paid to sit at a desk and feel like shit.

If I had the chance/opportunity to CTB right now and escape this cycle I'd be gone in an instant.

What appears to be trivial and easy for others has often required an incredible amount of effort paired with a lot of mental anguish for me.

And in almost all cases I did not achieve what others have, and if I did, it was not worth the effort it took.

I have given up, I have tried too many times with nothing to show for it.
But at this point it's not really about the external achievements anymore but the feeling of absolute powerlessness.
Knowing that no matter what I tried I would not be able to achieve it.

I feel like a little insect in a land of giants, that people could crush with a flick of their wrists.

Agree completely. It's total negativity and i've never understood how some people are enthusiastic and motivated to serve that system.

Yes. And people are pretty much required to beg to be a slave to these people. Going into life long debt to learn a skill, making a perfect resume, purchasing job interview cloths/ work outfits that the employer requires. If you fail to do this you will be cast aside for the next desperate slave.

Because they don't make people productive members of society. In contrast - on opiates one becomes content and satisfied with themselves.

I think our society is designed to make people stressed, tired and in mental pain so that they can be sold products, entertainment, food, alcohol as a temprary relief from that pain.
