  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I feel drawn to these cliffs often. To see something 200 million Years old brings meaning, that my life is gone in the blink of an eye.

By stretching out our longevity, we've only increased the time under which we increasingly become susceptible to suffering from disease and aging. We've only managed to reduce our quality of life during our artificially extended life span.

I'm slightly jealous of the humans who existed before us, who had a lifespan of 30 years. I've pretty much done what I've wanted in this world, but our life expectancy has more than doubled :(

Concur. My mother lived long but I wondered how her life was fulfilling when I turned 18. Im not to judge... I say its how we define our life in the years we have.

I like to say that people are so concerned about making life more lasting, but no one seems to care about making life more livable.

If I remember correctly, 30 years was the life expectancy, which is highly influenced by infant mortality, and not the average lifespan. Even other apes in the wild are used to live to 40+ years

I find it comforting, the fact that our lives are temporary. No matter what happens it will end and I will finally be at peace. We will all be forgotten eventually. However our life expectancy is still too long, and I cannot put up with this life for decades. For me suicide is inevitable as I want to prevent decades of pointless suffering.

I've been told that longevity is seen for my future and I honestly just felt sick to my stomach…. I don't want to be here another 50 years or even another 20 for that matter…. Ugh. I'm over it already..
