Discussion leaving behind a notebook containing last thoughts/what i do on my last day?

this is my first thread so hope it's alright.

i've been thinking lately of the idea that when the time eventually comes for me if i should leave a small notebook or something of that kind with some of my thoughts or just some things to do with my last day?

i got thinking about this because since my friend ctb i can't help but wonder about her last day and what she did and things like that. not that anyone might care if i left something like that behind, but idk just incase they would wonder i guess i don't know if it could help in some way? i mean it's hard to know how some people will react to certain things.

and i think i'll write letters to a few people i love, and maybe a 'i fucking hate you' note to a few people as well idk. but depending on which method i will choose i may travel, in which case i'll probably leave my letters at home to be found. and in the event i would travel, there would be some time between writing my letters and when i would actually ctb so thats why i was thinking about this idea.

not sure if it's stupid or not, but i'd be curious to hear what you guys think?

I think that's a good idea. The people you hate letter might not be relevant because in all honesty the people you hate will never actually read it and probably won't care if they knew. It might just upset the ones you care about more to see you hold grudges. But sharing your last thoughts definitely seems like a good idea if you want people to understand why you did it

i'm kind of worried if i would end up mailing them that there would be a chance they could get lost.

That's a great idea. I'm doing the same but way bigger. I've been writting about my life since 2018/19 and I plan to release it couple hours before I die in my city and in the internet. I want the world to know about me. Who I was, why I died, etc.

I find it irritating people think others would care about their life. I wrote alot of notes but quickly scrapped them. You end your life on your own accord. I feel like a note is blaming people.

idk i think a note can help to bring closure and comfort to some. i guess it depends on what's in it.

i've been wondering about this myself. i want to do something that proves to myself i'm not a total pansy. made two threads about it cuz we can't edit posts after a few hours have passed since posting.
