Discussion Leaving a note/video, thoughts and insight

I'm planning to leave a note/letter + a video recording. My thoughts on this is just I'd like to leave some sort of closure, as much as I can. Just curious on the community's thoughts/opinion. Not trying to have a full on debate or wondering who's wrong or right. Just wondering for other's insights.

Secondly, anyone have any ideas/programs of where I can record a video on my computer? Haven't really dabbled, but any free or built in programs on Windows would be nice.

Don't we have recording video on our phones? In the photo program? But the file size gets huge! I guess there are apps. I'd like to know computer stuff too. Anime subbers ysed gandbrake but didn't record themselves. There is one in windows? If I buy a web cam I'll make sure it comes with a better program. Logitec made one hd I think... I wanted to be a youtuber but didn't want to spend to be insulted.

Ive already left several letters addressed to carer, authorities and power of attorney. I intend to leave a vlog on my Android on the day. i would like people to know that my methodical planning was no knee-jerk reacation. Its been well thought through, meticulous in the setting of terminal illness. I just need to get my dr to hand over my medical report so the clinic in Switzerland can give me the provisional green light. Ive been told the lead time is 4 Months so i need to act fast . Ive no doubt my inquest will be a sad story to tell, they always are. The authorities appear to want to see you die horribly in pain, having died corragiously, surrounded by loved ones!.

I would see it as being a good idea to leave some sort of note or video because as you said it would give those left behind some closure. I think that if they had some sort of explanation it would mean that they are not left with unanswered questions.

Yeah, definitely the reason in my case. Try to answer as many questions as I can.


I'll take a look at kapwings. The reason why I'm mainly looking for just a computer program instead of a phone so I don't need to do the hassle of transferring files over and it may be a lot bigger on the phones. Just want to keep it easy to transfer from my computer to a USB, so I can leave the USB with multiple video recordings for different people.
