i've been slowly taking some of my mother's prescription and was wondering the LD50. I dont really have a tolerance

Just a quick google search:
The average hydrocodone concentration in the cases where the hydrocodone caused death was 0.47 mg/L (median, 0.38 mg/L)

Not sure of my math but that would mean post mortem they found a total of about 20mg? Prescriptions are typically extended release formula in the 10-20mg range. We're guessing for those who've intentionally taken too much, they either crushed the pills or took more than 20 at the same time. Looking around online it looks like there's a number of cases where they took acetaminophen with their hydrocodone. Either way, surviving this kind of attempt will seriously damage your liver.

Sorry you're in so much pain. Be well on your journey.

That article is talking about post mortem concentrations of the drug. It's really hard/impossible to work backwards from that to a toxic dose.

Generally hydrocodone is 2-3x less potent than morphine so you could make some rough guess based on that.

Bear in mind that it's also often combined with paracetamol - meaning a dangerous dose of hydrocodone would also involve enough paracetamol to cause severe liver damage and long term effects if you survive.
