I would do this for my parents. Apart from them supporting me financially, I have nothing but contempt for what they've done in the past.

I was thinking since I'm repeating my HS year, I could pretend to be all good (polite, friendly, and hard working in school) but then shoot myself, cut myself and plaster blood on the walls everywhere. Would love to make it as traumatic as possible.

I know that people will be saying don't kill yourself for revenge as that's stupid and it probably is the case seeing as my mother told me she doesn't care if I end my life.

But I can't let what my parents have done go without some emotional consequence to them. It's unfortunate I live in Western Europe but maybe if I go to the US on holiday I can shoot myself at a gun range right infront of them.

Is this the only/main reason? It sounds strange and not worth it ....

God, parents can be terrible! Revolts me. When I was 16 I felt the same, and also thought about ctb to show them just how stupid and repulsive they were.

I don't think it's the best revenge though. Well, it's a great revenge, but a better revenge would be where their loss is greater than yours. Maybe pull a stunt, i.e. go missing or send a message from a friends phone to say you've been found dead. Or otherwise embarrass them by talking to their friends or extended family explaining that you are on the verge of suicide due to their actions. I find these types of parents are extremely concerned about what their peers think about them.

While your parents may be uncaring, other people might be quite taken aback at the situation.

One does not need a reason to kill oneself, rather one need a reason to live.

Man, how you fo it? Every post you do is like looking myself in the mirror.

My parents ruined me completely and I can't forgive this or going with no consequences for them. I want to give in a moment what I received so many fucking years. Specially I always thought about writting a note saying how deeply I hate them and how them ruined and fucked up my life completely. Without doubt, my parents are the worst persons I've ever seen.

Suicide should be an act you commit for yourself, not for others; in whatever capacity that may entail.

Your death, and the circumstances it creates, isn't likely to just affect your parents. It'll go beyond that. Whilst you may have the last laugh at their expense, the surrounding implications might not be as intimate as you intend.

Revenge is a burdensome concept in the first place, and I don't think reveling in the torment of others is ever beneficial - especially if you won't even be there to revel in you circumstance you create. Each to their own, though.

Yes, also when parents are that way inclined that their actions and lack of empathy is the reason you want to ctb. You could leave the most heartbreaking note implicating them as the problem, but who's to say that when you do ctb, they aren't just going to find fault with you their offspring, instead of the real cause, being themselves. These types are usually narcissists and psychos and it's of little use to try cause them emotional harm.

As in, "Oh shame poor Timmy we didn't realise quite how troubled he was, we're glad it's finally over."

Yes. The narrative is easily manipulated by those who survive. They can twist your words and your 'revenge' into a story more palatable to them and that paints them in a more sympathetic light. I'd say do it for yourself. Don't let them corrupt another part of you. This is yours--beside you can't bask in the glory of your retaliation when you're dead. You just hope it will hurt them.

No
My suicide is for me.
It's also to help others.
I wouldn't use it to seek revenge or to hurt anyone.
For me it's a non emotional rational choice

Not for me. I consider killing myself just a way for me to check out early. Nothing more nothing less.
