As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.
So ketamine is approved for treatment resistant depression and depression with suicidal thoughts. It's very hopeful to hear it helps you a lot, do you think it targets the suicidal thoughts at all?
It reduces some of my suicidal thoughts and helps with my sense of self worth but it doesn't fix the problems that make suicide appealing (I get stressed out easily in modern workplaces.)

I had my 1st treatment yesterday. It was a good experience. I went into it without an intention, just to experience it for the first time. It felt like it gave me a break from my anxiety and depression and put me outside of my body. It was good to get a break from myself and the strong effects lasted for about 45 minutes. The doc said it breaks the neuro pathways your brain usually takes and even today i feel a little bit more calm. I cant wait for tomorrow

Hope there'll be further therapeutic effects for you .
Btw, for your treatment program, do you have to commit to a certain amount of treatment sessions or certain timeframe ie 8 weeks / 2 months?

Its 2 times a week for 1 month, then 1 time a week for the next month, then 1 time every 2 weeks for the final month. So 14 total times over 12 weeks. They said they will up the dosage after the 2nd week.

Just got back from my 2nd treatment, it was great. I felt like i was able to make some sense of some things, not solve problems or anything, just kind of remember who i was before all of the traumas. I felt like i was tripping harder this time, maybe it was because i was more relaxed and knew what to expect.
They also had this table with speakers in it. I laid down on it and put a dark mask over my eyes and headphones over my ears. They played music through the headphones and table at the same time and it was like a really cool massage. I think it helped the medicine come on stronger. It was an incredible experience and i am very greatful i am on this journey now.

That's great, while the actual infusion experience may have been pleasant it didn't really do anything long-term for me, at least not to justify the high cost. I hope you can derive some long-term benefit for yourself, however
I start Ketamine therapy next week. Im not so sure it will help but im willing to give it a shot for some reason. Has anyone else tried this and can tell me what to expect?
I DIYed Ketamine therapy for depression, ( 40-60mg/4days 70kg intramuscular) and it worked really well after my second shot! My suicidal ideations vanished and I felt normal again, had energy to get stuff done. Although it only helped for as long as I kept doing it.
I just had my 3rd and 4th session this week and they upped the dosage from 56mg to 84 mg. The thing i noticed was it helped me with sleep on the days i take it . I dont really feel a whole lot different when i come off if it yet. When i am on it i feel better though! It helps me make sense of some things or at least makes me want to try while im lifted! Idk how it will turn out but im still relatively new to it, only 2 weeks in.
