If you read the article then why do you keep repeating this?

You do not die 6 feet (it was meters but whatever) before impact. It's about perception and your biological capabilities. If you could possibly perceive the impact you would be some kind of alien superhuman.

You need appropriate height which is at or above 60 meters and solid ground. No grass/earth no cars no trees no nothing.

Obviously not to be taken literally if you read the context. What do you expect? Magically exploding in mid-air?

I for one am very comfortable with jumping. Not the time spent falling though. And all the places in my reach have suicide nets...
