Method Jumping off ferry

Hi all,

I'll be taking a ferry in the near future. It's over night and I'm thinking of jumping into the sea in the middle of the night. Does anyone have ideas on whether there is a risk of crew or passengers seeing me and trying to rescue me? I think I have better chances when it's between 2-4am. Any thoughts?

This will get quite a commotion if people find out. There is a risk you might change your mind, plus drowning is not good way to die. I would advise different method.

Bad idea. Modern ferries and cruise ships are equipped with "man overboard" sensors that will raise alarm as soon as you jump.

I don't think they have these everywhere. They seem fairly new and expensive.
