I'm thinking of jumping off a bridge but I really hope I don't survive.

Me too, but the thought of having all of my bones shatter and surviving is what has made me avoid it up until this point; I've heard it's been said that the impact of hitting the water is like concrete. That's great if you die, but horrible if you don't. That's the part that scares me. But at the moment, this might be my only option.

You could try a back up plan in case that falling down fails?

Zip-tying a backpack full of rocks to oneself should help with drowning after the initial impact, although that having one's lungs fill with water is not exactly a pleasant experience.

I would shoot up some heroin just before doing it. Or take some fentanyl. Do it at night and make sure no-one sees you.

That's honestly really ballsy...I thought about it and it actually seems like a good method. It's fast, easy, an if you ump headfirst, relatively painless. The only thing is etting over the fear of jumping...SI would probably be the biggest pain in the ass tbh.

Jumping is a good method, provided you have sufficient height and good surface. It is also painless. One of the users here jumped from around 7 m and still felt zero pain, he/she immediately went unconscious.

Your brain releases adrenaline with calms your system and epinephrine which kills pain. you won't feel pain until a few days later if you survive. Also most car crash victims die within 30 minutes, so extrapolate that to a bridge jump and it shoudln't be too bad if you're truly desperate.
your body will flip and tumble if you dive head first so there's no way out knowing you won't end up on your feet. best way is to belly flop. this will damage the internal organs like heart and liver beyond repair.

To me jumping certainly sounds like such a terrifying method, those who went through with it were very courageous, but it does sound horrific the thought of jumping going wrong. I really do hate how humans are denied the option to just pass away in peace without risks and complications, but sadly it's just the cruel reality.
