Jumping in front of a metro train?

My city has 24/7 metro service, so I was considering just jumping in front of a metro train. Problem is, I can pretty much only do this when a train is pulling into a station. The obvious pros is that getting crushed and grinded by a train seems like a pretty effective way to die. One major con being the public aspect of it and how it'll affect any witnesses but especially the train operator, but I could do this at a very late hour to minimize the number of people affected. Of course the biggest concern is really the odds of survival. I don't want to throw myself in front of a metro train only to survive, but I imagine the train pulling into a station doesn't help my odds very much.

Not a good idea. Too risky for you, and it exposes others to, at the very least, psychological damage.

You basically summed it all up. Act will traumatize and fuck up the day of everyone involved, esp poor train driver. Also, since it's the station area, train will be slowing down reducing your chance of insta death. You'll most likely bounce off and end up with some cracked bones and some organs busted open. Or be dragged for a while without limb or two, still alive but severely disabled.

I don't recommend this as there are failures by watching gore failures of people attempting this exact method
