It is a possibility that you could be on the ground, alive and it extreme pain for a last few minutes of your life. I'd say that height is enough if his head bounces off the concrete. Still idk how you would position yourself midair. So yeah I wouldn't say it's 100% safe. More likely to get injured.

I'm scared of heights, jumping is one of the methods that I could never do. Of course we all deserve a peaceful exit, we should not have to resort to these methods. I also see hanging as a more accessible method, and it will likely be what I choose. Of course it is hard to overcome the SI as we are programmed to survive. If it was easier I would already be gone. I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

I would go minimum 10 stories onto a hard surface not water. There are people who have survived much higher jumps. At 4 stories if you survive you will end up with broken bones and organ damage. You might even become disabled.

I seriously don't know how this is even possible. Shouldn't every bone break and organ rupture when you are flying at over a hundred miles an hour straight into the ground?

Imagine how fast a baseball pitch is thrown. You are moving even faster than that at terminal velocity.

Landing on your head would help, but that does sound scary. If a wind gust that pushes you back against the building could break your fall enough to survive almost any height.

Because information about peaceful methods is heavily censored. I never even knew something like N exists before lurking on SS. I only heard of exit bag out of sheer luck when I was researching suicide.

Things like hanging or jumping are methods anyone can think of on their own. If information and access to materials were readily available then the suicide rate would probably skyrocket.

For me I wish I could jump off the golden gate bridge or another bride of similar height- a 4 second drop and then a 99% success rate, though some don't die immediately. But police swarm people walking alone on the golden gate bridge, so it's almost impossible to do there- if you lived there you would have a better chance, because you could walk across it many times, often with other people, and you might get a chance eventually. They are down to one suicide every two weeks, and they think they are doing something good, but some people really do need relief from their pain in this world.
