This is the tallest structure I have access to. Any advice on overcoming SI? Keep in mind in my country I only have access to OTC drugs. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Looking to ctb in the next week.

I'd strongly suggest jumping from the middle of one of the sides. That would eliminate the possibility you'd land on one of the lower floors.

Best would be the middle of the back side, since it would eliminate the possibility you'd land on any people.

I personally don't have anything I could say from experience, but the wiki recommends a few things:
To overcome SI, try counting to 3 and jump on 2. Or take opiates if you have access to them to calm down.

That being said, you can talk to us about anything. We are very supportive. If you do decide you want to go down this path, may peace be with you.

I don't have any advice but man. I have taller ones, especially in downtown San Diego and the amount of times I've looked down on them to see if I could jump is astounding. Shit is petrifying though. Plus, I despise the thought of my body hitting concrete over water. Water is much preferred.

Thanks everyone for their kind responses. I have two questions:

  1. Does this structure look sufficiently tall to guarantee fatality?
  2. If so, does it matter if I go feet or head first at 12 stories?
P.S. I will be a week before I can get to that location. If anyone wants to message before then that would be nice. I hope we all find the peace we are looking for.

A guy jumped out of a plane and his parachute failed to open and he survived. That was from about 10k feet. There are no guarantees my friend.

Water has a much higher survival rate than concrete. Regardless of the height. It's a myth that water is as strong as concrete at a certain height.

The actual jump from Golden Gate, which is 250 feet, kills 95% of jumpers. (3% more drown from jumping.)

On the order hand, there was one study where 247 out of 247 people who fell from the 8th floor or higher in Paris died.

Uhh
Where did you hear that was a myth?
Every single study I've ever found disputes your claims

If one were to go headfirst. That would be hard.
