Discussion I've reached the boiling point,yet I'm afraid of hanging myself ..

i couldn't buy sn,it's not available where i am at.
My only way to do it is simply hanging,there's no other way,in a week I'll be home alone for few hours and I'm doing if god helps me .
Yet I'm just panicking i want to leave right now also i don't want to fail nor suffer alot ..
I didn't find any other method with a very high succes rate ..
What can i do to make this ancident successful.

I have never attempted hanging, the fear of failure is what holds me back personally from doing it. It sounds like a risky method and a horrifying way to leave this world. I'm sorry that you are suffering so much, I know that this life can be unbearable when you are desperate to leave. We all deserve the option of a peaceful exit at a time of our own choosing. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

I feel that it's really hard to hang yourself ( Full Suspension ) but it's hard to just let go of the stool or support because you know you'll have to suffer and your body will not want to do it .
Call it survival instinct but it's the same feeling you get before you jump from a building or jump into deep water body to drown. You know you will die but the feeling will make you abort.

I understand how you feel. I'm in the same boat, unable to muster up the courage required to kill myself.

I've been thinking of driving off the road at a high speed and crashing at the same spot my girlfriend died in a crash. I'm not able to do it. Everytime I go to that road, I'm overwhelmed by sadness. I just go there, sit at the spot where they found the wreck and weep. I'm a coward who is too afraid of death.

Hanging is the methode. In European countries 50% of all completed suicides are through hanging. Whats your ,,worry"? So prefere N methode?

Everything that everyone listed, thus far, as responses are just terrifying ways to go, IMHO, hanging included. If I were considering hanging myself, which at this point I'm not, although I take nothing off the table, in order to get around the body's survival response, I would fabricate a device with a timed actuator that would automatically "kick" the chair or stool I was standing on out from underneath me. But, I'm "lucky" that I could do something like that, if I had to, because of my schooling and abilities. Still, not my first choice. I did have a "cousin", though, who successfully hanged himself simply by leaning forward with a rope attached to a clothes rod in a closet and around his neck. His mom found him like that. You shouldn ever put your mom through something like that IMO.

As I said in my post it is the fear of failure holding me back from doing it. It is also a difficult method because of the survival instinct. Of course I prefer the sound of N, all that I want is to peacefully pass away. It does make hanging sound easy when I hear of all the people who have ctb that way, but in reality it is very difficult.

Yes, I know, the SI would exist no matter what the method, but I just think that ctb would be much easier having a peaceful way to leave this world and the SI would be easier to overcome. Most people resort to hanging as they have no other option. I think most people would probably prefer N.

If a quick painless death was guaranteed then we would all be doing it. I think 20 years time as a society we will have moved past this over zealous policy of life at all cost. I think we hive all life a chance but if we decide we want to go, and are of sound mind and a bonafide adult whatever those restrictions were, we should be allowed to. We should always have an opt put option that is pain free and readily available. We could essentially start to recycle people, people could decide when enough is enough, just living your life knowing that if your pocket is as empty as your heart you have an option to be dignified on exit.

a famous cult group mixed it with apple sauce so that can be done too although they've taken phenobarb no idea how it differs in taste from n

what's stopping me personally is the uncertainty of having done everything correctly which n just takes out of equation. you fast then you drink it and that's it. that reduces si for sure.
