I feel lonely and no one seems to care do you guys think finding a group of ppl who care about me might save me? Ever since I graduated I've been alone I'm 19 now and it seems like no one not even my parents care sometimes it feels like I'm going insane and every day is the same. Wake up, work, and sleep

hi there, I get your situation a lot. I think most of the people in here struggle with loneliness a lot. Loneliness is often a factor of depression, so having a few or even, just one person care about you might help you out. Offline or online, just people wanting to spend time with you and appreciate your existence. Sometimes it's all that you need. 19 is a good age to start new things out and to keep trying in hope to find the answers to your issues (i think..)

I've been thinking of college just cause I want to be around ppl and thank you it really does mean something to me when ppl try to encourage me

Well keep your chin up! Also, being around people, in my case, wasn't very pleasant, nor what I expected it to be. I'll rather be alone than finding people I'm not necessarily attracted to/share common things. All it does is drain my energy. Much love.

If you are looking for positivity then maybe the recovery section is better for that. Those who post in that section are the ones who want to stay here and maybe think that their situation might improve.
But anyway, I do understand that loneliness really can be painful for so many in this world, the unfortunate reality is that most people are so self centred and only care about what directly concerns them, you cannot trust and rely on people in this world.

Yes, I'm sure it could help. Things got better for me at 18 when I left home for university. You can make really good friends there because it's your first steps in independant life in a way, so you rely on each other. That was my eventual experience anyway. Halls of Residence wasn't that fun but things were fun at times in a flat share. All I would say is- friendship takes a lot of effort. Not just making friends but maintaining the friendship alongside life shit. I've gotten to the point where I can't really be bothered- plus, I'm pretty socially anxious. I think all the 'happy' people I have known in life really work on and value their friendships- so- I think it's pretty key to being happier in life. Best of luck to you.
