It’s repulsive how primitive we humans are

We are so technologically advanced and yet so far behind in mentality.

There's some ancient part in the brain still regulating our sense of self, greed, outsider fear, etc.

All of which would be useful in prehistoric times for the survival of our species… but now? Holy shit it should be unthinkable to even resemble our ancestors but we still very much do in the core aspect and it's affecting everything whether we like it or not.

We are so superficial, greedy, and afraid.

I realise that despite my self-awareness, I am very primitive and superficial too. I cannot help it. I realise that I categorize people, on an instant, subconsciously.

I hate myself and this fucking planet.

Occasionally I look at space news regarding meteors, PRAYING for a giant one to wreak havoc for once.

reminds me of when i was a lil one thinking about how the dinosaurs were so unique and beautiful creatures and they were all wiped out and killed just to be replaced by us. dinosaurs were primal in their ferociousness and it was cool that way! the weird morality humans invented to make themselves.. i dont know what the point is anymore. feel superior? is it just a collective mindset because of how we were all raised, now? i have no clue. no matter what the answer is, dinosaurs were cooler.

I believe that it's an unfortunate mistake how the human species even evolved in the first place, it's a curse to have the ability to exist in this world and humans just make this world a more hellish place with the suffering that they create. Humans really are responsible for so much of the unnecessary torment that exists here and this is just the unfortunate reality. Both life itself and humans are the true problem and I believe that it would be better if life never existed at all. No amount of words can describe how much I despise existence.

That's our animal brain. Or right brain. Left brain is responsible for our logic and reasoning. People have varying levels of control over their animal side and trauma especially can ingrain very primal behaviors that override logic and reason.

And despite being aware that we do this, very few people want to change.

We supposedly have the brain power to make those kinds of adjustments, but we don't bother to use it.

Still holding on to the notion that excluding others will somehow keep us "safe."

Ostracizing loners and introverts because in the caveman days, someone not walking in step with the tribe meant they were a threat.

We're nowhere near as advanced or sophisticated as we like to tell ourselves.

We've eliminated the useful parts of our primitive ancestors (diet, defense mechanisms, etc) and kept the useless elements.

We can barely climb a tree. Got no natural camouflaging capabilities. Can't kill a damn thing with our teeth alone (except maybe a bug).

Can't drink from a stream without worrying about some flesh-eating bacteria destroying our guts. But dogs can happily drink from a toilet everyday.

We are the weakest, most helpless animals on the planet.

I think humans are far too strong and irresponsible to exist right now, looking at the way the planet has been treated. People are straight up living in dumps. Climate change is making the world more and more dangerous. Even then, I hate the concept of being sentient and aware of suffering. I want suffering and humanity gone as a whole.
