It's my birthday

So it's my birthday today I really know how to feel. I'm planning on ctb this year so if that works (hopefully) this is going to be my last birthday it's so weird to think about.

On one hand I'm happy because I'll finally be a piece soon but on the other hand it's just so weird to think about no one around me knows this is going to be my last I kind of feel guilty I know they're all going to think I'm selfish I know they won't understand, I just be at peace

I'd like to say happy birthday. If it's possible for you I would say it but I don't want to be condescending.

I had a birthday 2 months ago. I was in my usual foul mood. I didn't appreciate hearing happy birthday from anyone.

even if I don't know you, I feel sad knowing you potentially will pass away this year. I respect your decision, though maybe it would not be a bad idea to discuss in some way your feelings with someone you trust (if you have anyone) so they can understand what you're going through before you decide to transition and maybe they could give you a new perspective about your situation that you haven't thought about. especially if you feel guilty about transitioning without giving the people you know some sort of explanation or reason beforehand.

I think it's normal to have some small strange existential crisis on our birthday. I assume this decision hasn't come lightly or spontaneously, so I hope you are doing well despite choosing this will be your last year. I don't think that one should feel guilty about choosing to ctb as after all, as none of us are obligated to continue existing here, it's a completely personal decision when to leave and if other people complain about this being "selfish" then they are the insensitive ones. Suicide is a decision in which people have every right to make and other people shouldn't have any say in this. To me it's always a terrible idea being open about this topic with other people as so many exist in denial of the fact that suicide is a perfectly logical choice in this world. But anyway I wish you the best, I understand why you would feel relieved at the thought of finally being free from this cruel world.
