It's a shame we can't trade places

There are so many people in the world who are dying of things like cancer but really want to live.
And there are people like us, here, who would happily stop living.
It just occurred to me that it's kind of a shame that there isn't a way to trade places. I'd gladly take the place of a kid with cancer. My life has so much pain and hell in it right now that frankly cancer wouldn't probably even be noticeable.

It just seems so unfair that those who want to live can't, sometimes.

I want to trade places with people who are already dead, I do not want to have to suffer a painful death from a disease. I am envious of those who have already died as they are free from suffering and are at peace. Many people die, every year. I hope to be one of them soon. But yes, life is very unfair.

I have thought about this a lot, especially when I first started seriously considering suicide. But if there was some divine force that made it so only those who already want to die got terminal illnesses, then one might question, why can't that divine force just make it so no one gets sick, or make it so everyone is happy? It just goes to show how completely absurd and random this existence and the entire fabric of the universe really is. There is truly no rhyme or reason to anything.

This is how I feel. Akin to "I wish I could just fall asleep and never wake up." I don't want to kill myself as much as I wish I was already gone. Skip all the suffering.

For instance, a person has a terminal illness and the physician is given the okay to end their misery. In cases like that, the person wants to pass away because death is a preferable option over suffering for weeks to months on end. If they had a healthier vessel, assuming they didn't have SI, they would want to go on.

I wish it was possible to transfer consciousness. I would happily trade places with a terminal cancer patient in hospice or near death. That would be a dream come true for me. A lot of those people want to live and are sad to die,not looking forward to it like I am. They can have my relatively young and relatively healthy body.
