I think these days all a person really needs to do is buy some oxy on the street. Its likely fentanyl and that is a quick peaceful exit i am guessing ? Whats your thoughts ?

Think it through. If one happens to survive, the other can be held responsible. There is no legal assisted suicide in the US. Hell, they're going after people now who just text encouragement to others who ctb. There's a trial on right now on CourtTV where they're prosecuting a guy who did nothing when his girlfriend was telling him via text that she was going to kill herself and did. Having a partner would be great if it all works out as planned, but it doesn't always go as planned. Make your decision based on facts, and in the case of partners, the worst case scenario has to be considered. Just my 2 cents. Do what is right for you.

You can say whatever (pretty much) you want to, or need to, say here on SS. What I wrote is true, 1000%. If you have a partner, and you both CTB, and are successful, no worries. Problems may only occur if only one is successful. Well, unless the stupid law decides to somehow go after one or the other's family members or something like that, assuming someone did something wrong, that is provable. This is a litigious society we live in. Everyone is looking for someone else to blame for everything.

Check out the movie Conrad and Michelle, which is based on a true story. They prosecuted Michelle for encouraging Conrad, her boyfriend, to CTB, by text, even though Conrad was already suicidal before he even met Michelle, who was also screwed up in her own right.

Hey, I wouldn't mind having someone else to CTB with, either. But, there are a lot of downsides that need to be weighed honestly. That's all I'm saying.

Nobody wants to die alone. Isn't that the principle behind marriage? In both cases, make sure that you know what you are doing.

The widowed spouse ends up dying alone, usually. One of the married partners dies alone, unless they remarry, and the new partner dies beforehand again. Eventually, though, someone ends up dying alone.

They can also post or search the partner megathread. Just remember to take precautions please. Good luck.
