And almost all of the work that we do contributes to the overheating of planet. This summer has really made that apparent. Everything is completely fucked.

Absolutely. To be honest, our species pretty much disgusts me. My gas/electric bill has sky rocketed the past few months (like everyone's I guess). Mostly heating I suspect- used an electric heater more over the winter because the boiler sounds like it's about to die.

Just makes me think what a horrible species we are- if you think about it, most animals have adapted to survive in their niche environment. We insist on spreading ourselves over every inch of this beautiful planet building climate controlled, luxury boxes and damn all the destruction we do as a consequence.

Awful part is, I wouldn't be without my comforts. My friend fantasizes about living off grid but I know I wouldn't last a day.

Government never care. They are out of touch, they think it's a struggle if they have to give up one of their holiday homes.
