No, it has to be a sealed mask. I gave up on this method due to the complexity and a final high isn't worth the effort or expense in my opinion. There is a nitrogen megathread that discusses the sealed mask method if you want to find it. The only issue you have to make is whether you want a scuba mask or a gas mask and then do a couple of steps from there. In truth I am just a bit lazy and think that the SN is a bit more poetic. Think about it, you're dying from a poison but it's not that painless relative to like cyanide or something. It's awesome. But you can always inhale some canisters of nitrous oxide online if you want to be high right before you pass out on SN

If you do not understand 100% what you are doing and why you are setting yourself up for failure. Thus follow the instructions in said books, the method has been developed over two decades.

I'm not good at DIY. I'm just going to use the nitrogen cylinder, regulator, the nasal cannula, the mask, and put a few garbage bags over the mask, I guess I'll just see what happens.

I have autism and my hands aren't all that great. I'm trying to avoid the Exit Bag method.

You cannot judge that before trying. It is not much more than placing two pieces of tape. Turkey bags, suitable tape, elastic and some toggle are very cheap in relation to a diving mask. You can always try again and improve, just buy a few bags extra.

I didn't do the exit bag because you can actually involuntarily rip off the bag while you're unconscious. I think this person should consider both options.

Not really much evidence about that apart from some self-reports on the internet. Exit International, FEN and others observed hundreds of uses of the Exit Bag.

I decided to keep on living, for now at least. I'm 21 and maybe life won't be as bad. Chronic pain sucks, sure, but what if there's no afterlife? What if this life is truly it? I'm not ready to face that reality.

Any mask from that company will be faulty at best. They claim the mask is made in Taiwan, a province of China. Taiwan is an independent country, and NOT part of China. Scam site. You need a plastic bag for this method to work properly, and you really better do some serious research.

That should work. Just make sure you have a full 40cf cylinder as it requires 3x more flow than the bag. I have their half mask version
