I don't think I would say it's demented, but I don't think it is a very good idea. You never know who might stumble upon the video, and it could end up traumatizing people.

Sounds like a way to overcomplicate an already complicated procedure. As mentioned you might traumatise others, and people who know you. That aside, would there not be potential for someone you know to recognise you and put a stop to it before you have a chance to go?

I have no issue with people doing this. I was present for someone leaving and it was very informative.
I agree it can be traumatic for someone to stumble upon but the majority of people who witness such things choose to do so.
I wouldn't be opposed to live streaming my own if I really planned it out.

It is just a thought for now. I quite literally have no friends and only family that already know and do nothing about my depression.

why do you want to stream it? I'm not judging, just asking out of curiosity. is it to give others the opportunity to see what happens, or does it make you feel less alone, or..?

I've seen another person say 'bout wanting to upload their suicide on dark web. so you're not the only one. and tbh I find it very naturally true that people want their deaths to say something. that's how you got suicide notes and stuff. IMHO, streaming ctb is just another form of suicide notes at this digital age.

but like every other NSFW contents, choose where and how you stream it carefully. think about your target audience. how it won't be misused. how you'd want it used. all of that.
