Discussion Is there honestly a good reason to continue?

Especially if you're 20 and never fit into society? I've thought about how there are really no guarantees in life if you think about it. Some people will spend their entire life (whether it cut short as a child or living till 100) in normality or mostly misery. There's no justice.

Think about how Galileo was burned at the stake 400 years ago for doing his best and getting the truth. If that can happen then what does that say about any of our efforts? If rich and attractive people kill themselves then whats the point in struggling to get a good job unless you need to? Just cut the chord imo. Even if you try, you can get killed in a terrorist attack

It sucks how much life isn't just unfair but completely pointless. Which is why I'm getting a vasectomy.

The biggest drug is human existence, as I wish it did not exist, I did not come to the world, I hate it here, I hate everything, everything is unfair and rotten with all people, especially the vulnerable, I will never have children. The world is sick and I just want to die.

One reason I can think of is the difficulty of suicide and the possibility of survival and ending up in a much worse state.

If other people, too, believe you don't fit into society, life can be very hard. Consciously or not, people will let let you know you're not one of them or don't fit in. I'm sorry to say that.

@top_cat. Galileo died of natural causes at the age of 77. Nevertheless, it seems an enduring truth that those in power suppress whatever threatens them.
