I want to be able to openly label my traumata experiences in a specific way. It's hard to type out because saying it opens is triggering to me (I only feel safe in therapy) but I feel it's something I need to do. Especially when other people in my shoes are able to and im still stuck on it. I want to be like them. I want to do it now. I am tired of being behind. I need to play catch up and stop minimization and just call things what they are

There's a process called EMDR which is meant to use specific techniques to make the brain process trauma faster and easier. I will start to undergo this process in the next few days, it does take a few sessions for the process to be completed. If you see a psych or anything like that, definitely ask them about it. Might be something that can help you.
