• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

To keep it short I haven't cut in over a month and I really want/need to right now but I can't because a special person will see and I don't want to cause him negative emotions
I need something that won't leave a mark or that will leave after a few hours I don't care how bad or stupid the suggestion I just need something that will make me feel better and will settle the urges

Are you ok? Is there anything you'd like to talk about that might help?

This isn't the first time someone asked this so this time I decided to ask Claude AI and see what it says, maybe some of these could work for you?

- Hold ice cubes tightly in your hands

- Snap a rubber band on your wrist

- Draw red lines on your skin with a marker

- Squeeze stress balls very hard

- Do intense exercise until exhausted

I don't know if those are of any use to you? Once I went to a recovery house and they had a punching bag, I'm guessing a lot of people find that kind of thing helpful?

I remember one of my mates who used to slice up paper and blutak with his blade, he'd make like layers of the stuff and colour the layers red. He said it gave him similar satisfaction, but I don't know if it'd just make you wanna do it more. I'm pretty sure he's clean now, though.

One thing I used to do for my OCD is promise myself I'd give in to my compulsion in X minutes. Sometimes it wouldn't work, but some times I'd find something else to do, and postponing the urge would go away. It kinda worked for a while for the cutting too, but so much.
