Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i always see people talking about P.o. boxes and whatnot. i know the payment is a bit unconventional, but why is everyone weird about the shipping? i have not yet found an explanation for this.

I have read they do a lot of back and forth footing between shipment placements so they can get it to you without a problem, and other factors involved, but some have to deal with other third party factors during the process and how it breaks communication between successfully purchasing for them to deliver, especially so it gets you your order without them shipping it with granted access and it being a secure location for the package. I don't know, fully though. That's just my guess and I'm still saving up for DMC.

For some peeps it's important others they might live with not see or intercept something they purchased and a PO box could help with that

I feel like a PO box would reduce the chance of the SN getting lost which would be just my luck. Especially since the delivery seems to take ages, I'd be anxious the whole time. It's probably just me being paranoid though.

I don't have to worry about family opening my post but I guess others do-which is crazy to me btw. I'd hit the roof if they did that! I still haven't decided whether to get a PO box or not yet tho, they don't seem cheap and that's on top of the price of SN from DMC which is probably the only thing I'd use it for.

The reason I considered getting it delivered elsewhere other than directly to my address was so that if the police tracked it, it will make it less likely that I will receive a welfare check. I don't want to interact with police, ever. One interaction was enough to cause intense anger on my part to last a lifetime.

I got a PO box so that I can get the SN without my family getting the package and opening it up for themselves. If I lived alone, I would have it shipped to my house directly

I ordered it to my workplace because if I would have ordered it home, my wife would have taken it. Simple as that. At my workplace, I am alone, so no questions to be raised.

theres a risk the sn could be found by housemates if the person lives with others. another reason i can think of would be concerns about police welfare checks. i know that in the UK people who have ordered sn online have had the police come to their door to check on them.

i still decided to order SN to my house. i live in the US and i havent read any stories of people getting welfare checks here. i do live with my mom, but all the times ive ever ordered something to the house shes never once questioned me or tried to intercept my packages, so im not too worried about her finding out.
