Is that a good height to die?

I found out (with google earth) that the building I want to jump off of is about 21 meters in high. If I jump headfirst into it like it was a swimming pool, would that kill me at least 95%?
and would a BAC (blood alcohol level) around 0.05 - 0.13% help?

Yes, it is. I've seen people die from jumping out of their room windows or hotel windows, and they die instantly.

it's doesn't matter how you jump, it's matters how you land after jumping (if it's fatal or not), you can't you position yourself while jumping/failing so it's doesn't matter if the building aleast very high or above 20 meters, you gonna die anyway

Survival instincts usually kick in when you're on the edge of a hill. Adrenaline is distributed in your upper and lower limbs. It's almost impossible to get loose, and it's even harder to dive jump.

At the highest accessible point in my city, my legs lock up and my body refuses to move, diving is basically impossible. This is why people spend minutes on balconies on those videos. I must have seen at least two times people that managed to do what you'd like. There's a greater guarantee in cases of falls from low heights but it's not worth at all.

These effects can lead to a more "ragdoll" state, in which the body is less tense and absorbs the impact more passively.

I don't know about jumping from a high place, but if you're over twenty meters high I don't think you'll have any chance of surviving.

hope so, if I had the chance I would probably choose something else, but this is kind of my only option. I was there once but i didin't jump and kinda "got saved"

for what i know, you can die from a fall as low as 1.8 meters so with 21 meters, especially head first, you have very high chances of dying unless you are unlucky
when you will hit the ground, you will have a few minutes of agony as you drown (in your case) in the pool and bleed due to your injuries or your neck and head would be obliterated so you will just feel a sharp pain for a split second
i suggest to take sleeping pills or something similar, and be sure no bystander is here, or don't

no, 21 meters is way too low.

Now, if you land head first, it is more than enough.
The problem is you will not manage to jump head first. It's not easy navigating the jump from that high - it's NOT the same as a jump into the pool. If you try to rotate yourself to fly head first, you will make more than half a rotation, possibly even 2 or 3 rotations, with super hard control. I free falled many times, also I have been to aerodynamic tunnel, with wind 200-300km/h blowing me off from the floor - a long simulation of free fall. Navigating a fall is REALLY hard.

This is why you need to make sure to have 98%+ even when you landed on your back, belly or even legs. And for that, height of 40-50m+ is needed, and don't land on grass, but onto concrete.

Would alcohol help? Sorry, but also not. Alcohol relaxes your muscles, and there are articles saying that people shouldn't be surviving a fall but alcohol made them survive it. Alcohol is good only to overcome SI. This is why you want to go for 40++ meters. To overcome negative effect of alcohol and landing feet first.

Thank you Willitpass for this post. I think its great you are posting this because the methods you described are not effective, but can still lead to a lot of misery. This way you can hopefully prevent some people from doing that.

In terms of an effective method according to my research full suspension hanging works best, as long as you are uninterrupted for 30 min, and have a strong rope and anchor point.

I will say that CO poisoning was my initial method of choice but after reading about it a lot I am getting the impression there are many things that can go wrong.

Some other things that seem to me quite at risk of not succeeding (but with lasting condition afterwards) are:
- Jumping off below 50 metres (if you land on your feet you could survive)
- Freezing (you lose fingers, toes, even some limbs, but could be found or just survive)

If it were me I'd look into buying a weighted vest to help keep you pointed head below your feet. But it definitely won't be me, I'm not a fan of heights

Is not a good height but it can get the job done i jumped from a 15 m balcony and i was so close to die, the thing is probably the hit would not kill you instantly but your internal injuries will, dunno about alcohol i did it sober no major pain when i hit the ground just very lightheaded and max adrenaline pumping weird sensation uncouscious after a couple of minute due to the blood loss

My friend died from falling from 2.5m high. He fell backwards and landed on his head. I think it will be enough but has to be a head landing.

I personally would aim for higher. Although it's true that one can die from a lesser height, the chances of survival are higher. This method is one that could lead to serious injury if you survive.
