Depends on where you hit. Some end up dying by suffocating on their blood.

It will end before one knows it. It is one of the best methods. Its not about the pain its about how fast the last breathe settles in. Those who want to die should stop wondering how painful could it be or not, one just need to be courageous. Me myself i am still not courageous enough.

Ive seen assassination/suicidal attempts result in survival. While rare a shot to the head doesnt always mean death. Caliber and type of firearm are highly influential. Best chance is a shotgun.

Look at anatomical diagrams and ensure your angle targets the brain stem. Anything else is dicey. I personally met a man who aimed up, taking out his frontal lobe and survived. He had no ability to initiate anything. He required verbal cues for everything. Like he would stand still until he collapsed if no one told him he could sit down.

Yeah I remember seeing a picture too of a guy who blew the whole front of his face off with a shotgun and was still alive. I would try to aim more backwards than anything.

If you shoot at the right angle it is. There's a video floating around of a guy who only shot his face off and survived. You can see the vapor coming out of his windpipe. It's really disturbing, like something from out of a horror movie.

If you get it right, aim correctly and with the right weapon and the proper bullet, it can be instant pretty much.
