• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My SN is being shipped right now. I live in Canada. In case it gets confiscated and I get a wellness check done on me, I may get sent to the ward. This sucks, because I have all the ingredients needed to CTB (meto, benzo). All I need is the SN. If plans fail, I will put my neck on the track and have the train decapitate me. I was wondering if my train method would lead to a guaranteed death? I don't want to end up crippled. If not, what can go wrong?

There is no such thing as as a guaranteed anything. Even guns have success/non success rates. It's what you are will accept if things don't go as planned. Becoming a vegetable?

That can very easily go wrong just based on how the train hits you. Not a good idea at all if you are afraid of being crippled.

it depends on will power.
if someone hypothetically goes to the train tracks, lays down with their body away from the tracks, but ONLY THEIR HEAD on the tracks,
and waits for the train to decapitate, then such a person WOULD hypothetically get decipated by the train.
i don't see how not.

but the important thing would be to not chicken out. and stay put in the exact right spot.
using the metal tracks as your pillow and never moving away.

if one (hypothetically) has the will power to do that, then i just don't see how it could fail.

even if your body would get dragged, at least it would mean the train ran over your cranium first, right?

I wonder if the cowcatcher can prevent the person from CTB'ing though. The trains in my local area have quite a low cowcatcher unlike ones I've seen in other countries.

May I ask how you acquired it? Fellow Canadian here waiting for the bus
Unfortunately, train tracks are not guaranteed unless you tie yourself to them in a place no one will see you.

Here's my response to a similar thread from last year:

Assuming it's the type of trains we have in North America, you would not be able to block it out. Your head would start to vibrate when the train is still 10 minutes away (4-5 miles depending on speed, track substrate, etc) and by the time it gets to you, the bouncing and sound would be headache inducing. Then with the horn blowing as soon as the engineer sees you, it would be traumatic to say the least. But, assuming, you keep your head on the track, DeathSweetDeath is correct, you wouldn't feel it for long. What is interesting is what happens if the train locks its front wheels before impact? Does that mean you get pushed by the locked wheel or will it still go over the skull? I've seen several train suicides at WPD but nothing to indicate a locked wheel.

LRT's may be slightly different - Light Rail Transit - that are smaller versions of the large transport/passenger trains.

I did not consider the "cow catcher". They have to be low enough to shunt away debris but still be high enough not to snag on switches and crossings. If Westlaw is correct, then Canada's cowcatchers have to be between 3-6 inches above the top of the rail I know my head would not fit under it but I'm a large guy with a good old German block head :smiling:

With enough commitment, almost any method can be guaranteed, the problem is commitment. I know myself well enough that suicide by train is not something I could do.
