US politics has become surreal.
Nick Fuentes is disgusting. He is very talented though. He is funny, has charisma and ambitions. He is a filfthy liar though.
He openly said He hates the poor. And He argumented quite frequently that Hitler is based. But in post truth societies the voters won't care. I Was wrong in my prediction that DeSantis would become president. I am not sure where Fuentes is heading. But He gains more and more power and conservative politicians become increasingly scared of his fan base. The fucking groypers. Fuentes thinks the most straight thing is to be an asexual incel. And sex with women was gay.
At first Fuentes had the first groyper war against Charlie Kirk. The second groyper war is against Donald Trump. And currently MTG and Fuentes are the most vocal critics of Trump within the right-wing groups. I perceive MTG as more honest and authentic though. But I am not the average US voter.
In a potential presidential debate I would be curious whether Fuentes could get away with his past Statements. I tend to think yes. The right is divided. Tucker vs Fuentes and then united again. Then Tucker and Fuentes against Shapiro. And the right is increasingly divided on the issue Israel. Young right-wingers become increasingly distant to Israel. And some donors hate that. I hate that leftwing people like Glenn Greenwald give people like Fuentes a platform. I think Glenn might be pissed though After Fuentes' homophobic Statements. The irony is Fuentes is probably gay too.
Secular Talk says American politics can be explained if we imagine it like politics of 12 year old edge lords. If you say the edgy things, you get rewarded for it. I think though its more complicatesd what the Heritage foundation, Curtis Yarvin etc. are doing.
I can remember when I watched the live reaction of some Black American Small YouTubers on Kanye West's Song Heil Hitler. And I think ironically they were completely right. Ye is with this Song ahead of its time. But not in a good sense. They liked the song.
One thing to add Fuentes even said He lies about his real Positions on certain policy issues. And He recommended that to his audience. They shall infiltrate the institutions and take them from within.
I explained most of this to my friend group when we spent the evening together. We went to a Restaurant which is really uncommon for us. I told them for example Nick Fuentes is famous for his Quote Sex with women is gay. And one of my closest friends said something like this is all very surreal and insane. But increasingly German politics will adapt to American politics. The US is only a little bit ahead with this development.
Personally, I am really interested in analyzing the far right. Slavoj Zizek has good analysis of Curtis Yarvin but He is really pessimistic. Honestly, me too.
