Is my SN legit? (Not from DSL)

I've found my local sn source but I don't know if it's legit, this is what they claim

specification
sodium nitrite 99.0% min
moisture 1.4% max
sodium nitrate 0.80% max
chloride 0.10% max
water insoluble 0.05% max
content of iron 0.005 max
appearance of product : white or light yellow fine crystal

Is it legit?

Is it legit?

They describe it perfectly but that does not mean that is what you get in the tub. If it is a chemical company then you are probably fine.

Thank you, I'm not sure because the packaging it comes in is in a sealed bag over a kilo and kind of cheap

I saw in other threads that they usually come in a plastic container and only 500g
and it's very expensive

Mine comes in a bottle container 100 or 500g. Then again it is lab grade SN, try looking for things like ACS reagent or trace metal basis (look up the SN bible on what they are). If it just comes in plastic packaging or no well known brand or sources better do aquarium strip test. Also the cheapness may or may not be a good sign, mine is around 80$ at 500 gr, other lab brands sells it at 60$ for 500 gr and that's the cheapest for 500 gr for 97%+ purity SN.
