Is most pornography you can find online unethical?

I don't want to make a false equivalence. Illegal porn is even worse. But most porn online seems to be produced under unethtical circumstances. I had some talk with friends of mine some were more fan of porn with professional actors and some were more fan of amateur porn.

For me it seems like professional porn seems in many cases less questional than amaeur porn. In professional porn the actors at least know that it gets uploaded, the age is checked, there is consent. I think though the porn industry itself has many issues. The working conditions must be pretty rough and you get treated badly. It is not that rare that (former) porn actors commit suicide. Though I think it is emerging a category "ethical porn" which is often against hetero normative standards of pornography. But isn't that turning off many men? (who are the main consumer of pornography). Of course one could debate the impact of porngraphy on men (addiction, self-worth, ED, wrong expectations). But this ins't my point.

The thing with amateur porn is I strongly doubt the vast majority of actors have willingly agreed to be uploaded on the internet. There was a shit storm against many big porn websites and I think some mainstream porn websites like pornhub prohibit now porn from amateur actors without a certain verification. The bigger platforms argued most of their audience will simply search for smaller websites which don't abide by these rules. Actually many porn websites have a German origin. I think pornhub too. I know that a certain porn website opened fake offices in Cyprus to flee from EU regulation.

Maybe onlyfans is the best form of ethical porn (for the producer). The consumer spends a fortune, texts with men from Asia thinking he would text with the female creator personally.

I think most people (mostly men) ignore this dilemma but does this make it better from an ethical perspective?

Reading erotic literature (and fan fictions by extension) is the only ethical porn consumption. Why? Idk because women like it and they sell it at Target so it must be doing something right. Maybe it's the imagination and creativity aspect that actually makes it healthier. This is vaguely boomer mentality but having to read walls of text with no other stimulus is probably better just because you have to work harder for it or something. So it can technically be as nasty and immoral and degenerate as possible as long as you don't have a picture of it I guess.

i believe so. i find that a lot of pornography depends on fetishes of ethnicity/race, lesbians, and minors based on stereotypes that sexualise the communities all together. it also gives a false perception of women and men and how healthy sex should be and can contribute to rape culture. also a lot of porn actors only go into the field because of a poor financial situation. its just pretty much never a good thing to get into.

"Ethical porn" feels like some phrase pulled from a dystopian novel. I don't think you should fret over whether the girl you are cumming to is of "sound, hospitable mind and able to voluntarily participate in porn, able to voluntarily risk being 'objectified'" ...You are the problem, sure, as a private consumer I guess you're contributing to pornocratic rule!
