i know my purpose in life but is living really worth the trade off? there's bound to be deep pain and suffering, and like everything is temporary but can i make it end any faster without me being morally in the wrong? i didnt ask to be born so why do i have to feel so much guilt ending my existence?

What's worth it?
After ending "20 year of depression" I can give personal point of view.
I attempted suicide before.
But today I'm fine, I'm good , and what is worth it for me is yes family , and pursuing my dreams and goals, that alone is my dream, what keeps me alive.
My dreams are to build my own project\business\thing that i've built , it is like my own casino, democratic organization, and it's almost done, but that's MY dream, other people's have other dreams.

Everyday at the office insee people living without dreams, or at least they look like their dreams are to be employee of the month and to provide for their families. Cool . Not me.

Guess everybody is different or there are many different opinions on these same matter.

Maybe the only opinion that counts it's yours,

Cause the only answer that matters to me, its mine.

But I like reading and expanding my mind , that's another goal, little philosophy maybe?

Ok my boring story.
44 years old and 22 of them with bipolar. I've tried everything to be happy and I have been on and off but this illness won't beat me again. I've had lots of suicide attempts and been revived 4 times, now that tells me in a weirdo way I'm meant to be here.

For some people sure, life is worth living, why not, they can genuinely enjoy it.
This question is a curious philosophical exercise but practically it is only a personal judgment.
For me, of course like for majority on this site better not being born at all.

I don't have a life. I just exist..... and no. Existing is not worth it.

I would say if your circumstances allow for such musings, you probably don't have a pressing reason to die. So give life a go, why not?

Only you can answer that yourself, because every life is different. I would say if your health, finances and relationships are in overall good shape, then there is much less reasons to CTB. But when those areas are out of balance, then thats a different story. Also depends how much effort you are willing to put in, in order to overcome your current struggles (as long as they are still reasonably reversible), and make something great out of it. It is almost 2020 now. There is so much information and resources available on the internet on how to have the best health, become financially successful, and have beautiful relationships, so its really up to the individual at this point if they are willing to make the change. This is the first time ever in human history where improving and changing one's life is so much easier. But once again, its also based on your personal situation, as there are other factors to consider. In the end, it also relates with how strong your "why" is. Some people have a loving family and etc., therefore during their darkest times, they still find the motivation to fight through it. Some don't have luxuries like this, so during their darkest times, they simply don't see the point to continue. After-all, I'd say its definitely much safer to simply just not have been born at all in the first place, because the world and living in general is indeed reasonably complicated and rather pointless for the majority out there

For some reason I have the guilt thing too and seriously I have no reason to feel guilty. I mean I don't owe anybody anything. Many people would kill themselves if they lived the way I'm living.
