Is lab grade SN much more better than food or industrial grade?

Since I don't have the time and money to buy test kits, is the lab grade SN much more reliable when it comes to purity?

Food grade SN usually has low purity, meanwhile the industrial one has only upto 97% purity (I don't want to buy industrial sn cuz it's said to taste like car tires) So I think the lab grade/analytical reagent sn is the best one I guess?

Depending on where you got this, I'd still test it. Do you have purity written anywhere on the label? Otherwise, it would seem it's 100%. Again, I would test it anyway.

I think that lab grade is the best grade of SN that you can obtain because the impurities inside it are of inert nature. In industrial SN, those impurities can be heavy metals, anticaking chemicals or other chemicals that can make you vomit even more.
I bought the same kind of SN a year ago and mine came too with a four year expiry date. Look for a CoA (certificate of analysis) number on the bottle. With this number, you can check the purity of your exact batch on the manufacturers website. Usually the purity is higher than 97%.
