There are people who've survived the 39th floor and the 47th floor of buildings. They are exceptions though.

Cliffs overlooking the ocean are a guaranteed death.
Water is more fatal than concrete at a certain height. Headfirst will kill you. Tall bridges above water are good enough too. Body will feed fish!
I think it would. There are people who have jumped off the top floor of the parking garage at my local medical center and have died. I think it's only 6 or 7 floors. That's actually what I was thinking about doing.
