  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I want to jump from a 7th floor. I understand that there's a good chance of survival, so I want to minimize it as much as I can.
I'm wondering whether it'd be a good idea to do it during winter, so that if I don't pass away immediately hypothermia or whatever could help finish me off before help arrives?
I don't think I'll be found very quickly.

Maybe the ground would be a little harder, depending on the surface you land on? Don't imagine it's a big difference, though...

It sounds pretty aweful, that you want to wait till you freeze when you survive the jump... Is there nothing higher you can jump from? Take firearms with you to finish you? Or is there a river nearby you could through yourself into, with your last energy?

i don't really have another option. i'll be landing on concrete, maybe if i'm unlucky i'll hit grass, but i doubt,
and yes, it's an awful death, but it's not as awful as living

Did you consider taking the train to a location further away from where you live? That might open up new spaces from where to jump. :)
