I recently been diagnosed with major depression and generalize anxiety disorder.
But for some reason it doesn't satisfy me. I want to be diagnosed with other mental illness or maybe be dealing with other mental illness. Crazy right? I think I might be insane.
Please say your thoughts on this, thank you.

That is not a bad thing if you think that you have something different besides these.
I think so too for sure because I was diagnosed only with schizoaffective disorder depressive type.
Technically the more things you have been diagnosed with, the better treatment it is possible to give you.
But I would like to be diagnosed with death from N.

Perhaps you want to figure what's going out inside your head. The wrongness you feel within is not fully described with the diagnose they gave you. You know there's something there that you have no name for it yet.

Maybe I'm just speaking too much, I might be projecting, because I too felt like that before. I might want someone to tell me that the fight I constantly have with myself is not just a delusion, or something I tell to myself out of self-indulgence, but instead is something very real that is indeed hard to deal with.

Hopefully, my words may help you bring some light on what you're going through.

I get what you mean. Sometimes it feels like everyone I know says they suffer from anxiety, it's such a blanket term. And SO many people say they're depressed too. I felt the same as you with the same diagnosis for over 20 years until I got fed up and was very honest and specific to a counsellor of all my thoughts and symptoms which led to a bpd diagnosis and I felt so much better after as I knew I had more going on than what they had said before. It made so much more sense.
You may well be the same. Don't just assume Drs will be smart enough to correctly diagnose you, do research and push it, ask for a second opinion or whatever. You know your own mind better than they do.

This is so true, it makes it difficult to understand the one's who truely are in despair to those just using it for a bad day. It makes it understandable that someone want a full blown reason/name for what they are going through, so they are not thrown into the same list as everyone else, if this makes any sense at all?
