I don't think so. I'm shy too. But I have learned time and time again that society doesn't really like shy people unfortunately.

So no, if it were up to me, definitely no.
But the majority will eat us alive if we don't learn to walk and talk the way they do.

I would say It is not, but It is really hard to be shy in this world. Depends why you are really shy- do you have anxiety, or are you HSP or introvert? Or maybe you are on spectrum.

I surely am on spectrum or something but undiagnosed as always. I thought I was shy but now I am sweating around people or my OCD starts kicking in. I even forget what I am doing I am so caught up in how I am making the whole place awkward by my presence. Rn I am okay all alone and can even say it's just me to calm me down doesn't matter if it's really just me or the people really do feel that way but once I am surrounded I would like sweating more my brain can't stop it it's like an involuntary action or a reflex action.

I have found any quality alcoholic beverage, or ingesting a suitable quantity of THC will improve shyness. Trust and believe!

It doesn't have to be. I think we live in a more aggressive world where shyness is seen as negative. I've been around extroverts who have sapped the life out of me . I've met some beautiful shy people. I would say. Shy people need to protect themselves from vampires. Shy people need to find their voice because it's possible.

Yes, 100%.

Being "shy" is a symptom of not being accepted by your peers in your formative years.

Look I am shy to so I will just say it about myself. I am fucked up in a big way. Interacting with people SHOULD be 60-95% of someone's life.

NOW with that said, its totally normal to be "shy" around complete strangers, which is most of the people we interact with on a daily basis. So it's not actually as bad as it seems on the surface.

being shy, no. but depends on how bad it is. if its turning into something more like social anxiety or agoraphobia then yes. its not really a healthy mental state to be in
