A few things.
One, I was involuntarily hospitalized but promptly switched it over to a voluntary hospitalisation. I never had to go to court or anything, but I'm not sure if this will show up on my background check when I try to buy a gun. If anyone could provide clarification on that it would be helpful. Specifically I am trying to get a gun in Oregon, where you don't need a license but just need to pass a a background check.
Second, I'm looking at cheap guns. I'm nineteen (although have been dealing with mental illness nearly my entire life and have been in and out of hospitalizations constantly for over six years, with it continually ruining my life and it never getting better. 13 psychiatrists, over 22 therapists, every type of therapy and med you could imagine) a 9mm Luger caliber handgun seems to be one of my cheapest options. Will this be enough ? In my mouth, aimed at the soft palate? I don't know too much about guns, been learning solely for the purpose of ctb so things are still confusing for me

I tried a pump shotgun at the range. It's a bomb. In my opinion, if I put it in my mouth my brain will explode 10 meters away from me. But according to many here in the forum nothing works and you can remain disabled and blah blah blah... So I don't know what to tell you. I am convinced that the right weapon exists, but perhaps many people don't want to expose themselves.

Furthermore, in official statistics the rifle is lethal in 99% of cases and the pistol (always in the lead) in 97% of cases. Why try anything else? 🤭

Which then with SN is a horrible death, with tachycardia, vomiting and suffocation. You probably turn blue.😔😱

You will turn blue and black for sure. My friend died by SN and his sister told me they had to call aftermath company to cleanup his room. I'm glad he's at peace who gives a fuck about aftermath.. want to use anything to die I bought a gun I know it will kill me but I don't know how to shoot yet. Sn is easier for me as a female. I'm still thinking about which one to go with. I'm just not living anymore. I don't feel life in me. That's how I know it's time for me to go

You cannot legally buy a handgun in the U.S. at 19. You have to be 21.

You really wrote what was on my mind, no matter what you say, they are talking about possibilities, a shotgun can completely shatter a person's head. How can you survive if you don't have a head? Don't go crazy. Some of the comments are really ridiculous, I would like to show a few videos, but I don't want to violate the site rules. But I get really angry at these people.

Rifles and shotguns can be purchased at 18, and handguns from unlicensed sellers at 18 as well

Jesus christ yes that's true but thats not what you asked. You said gun youre title says 9mm luger and you asked about background checks. If you're going through an illegal seller they're not going to do a background check anyway. If you're getting a long gun it depends on your state if they do background checks. They're not required by fed.
