Life is too difficult for me

I have access to 50 feet height at the roof of my 4 storey apartment building. Could be 55 or so.

I went there today and came very close to the edge but my feet started shaking badly. Despite enormously being disappointed in myself, I had to accept defeat and returned back.

Hey friend, I'm sorry you're also suffering so much like me. The only bridge I could get to is only this high with water below.

What is this all about?! Every time some one has a question or wants to rant about a certain thing they get told to go to the "megathread"
Calling someone's post repetitive or unnecessary is damn right cruel. Not everyone goes straight to the megathread, some might not know it exists but then again they may feel more confident asking out right, engaging in conversation! I don't care if I see the same post over and over again because I can either choose to reply or ignore it. Not one post here is unnecessary, imo every post matters here, even if it is considered repetitive! Most of us are suicidal and yes we have our problems! So do people really need to pick on someone for making a "repetitive" post, that truly may be their last post!

If not everyone goes to the resource compilation/megathread or knows it exists, a reminder post will quickly and politely advise them of this fact. There's nothing remotely 'cruel' about directing people to the most comprehensive and detailed source of information as their first point of call. Cutting down on unnecessary posts and responses means that our efforts can be directed more to necessary ones. It's all about doing the most good for the greatest number of members. The height at which a jump can be fatal is the most absolutely elementary piece of information possible about jumping, and is thoroughly covered in the relevant threads.

You may well have no issue with seeing repetitive or unnecessary posts, and may be happy to place the burden upon yourself to wade through or ignore them. But that extreme degree of selflessness isn't universal among members here, and in my opinion nor should it be.

I don't think that people being vulnerable and suicidal, and people using basic common-sense and netiquette, need to be mutually exclusive concepts. I think it both disempowers individual users and inconveniences the forum as a whole to assume otherwise.

Maybe if don't eat for a few days, getting very malnourished, the chance of getting it right is greater. As the body runs out of food, water and sleep, the immune system becomes exhausted and weak, the chance of getting it right is great.

Many people who jump from 4 stories or less survive with serious injuries, including fractures to the spine, pelvis and brain damage. Even as high as seven or eight stories has a decent survival rate. However, any higher than 10 meters will guarantee serious injury and will be extremely painful while not guaranteeing death.

there's a bridge I know, 120 feet, poss little less, Only 1 known survivor, time it right, no chance of survival, you can either land on water or a solid surface

I don't think it's the height that really matters, sure it is a sure-fire way to CTB if it's from say jumping out of a plane but even people who jump off the Golden Gate bridge have survived. I think it's the landing that is the most important. If someone can fall out of bed and break their neck I'm sure you could do more worse from a schmee bit higher up.

The height to jump from is hard to call. I have read stories of folk falling nearly a hundred feet and walking away with minor injuries, then recently there was a story of a woman jumping from the second story of a building to escape a fire and died from the jump,
