I have never been to hotel room before and I am planning to ctb in the same. Can anyone share the procedure on how to enter the hotel room and talk to the receptionist, what is the check in procedure? And do i have to tip the bellboy if he escorts me to the room I booked? I am not going to carry any bag or luggage whatsoever so will I look suspicious? Also do the staffs enter our room anywhere during daytime after I checkin? I am gonna check in at 12:00 pm and I will be gone to the other side by 5:00 pm

You can probably make a reservation online. Then talk to the receptionist, state your last name and possibly give some kind of confirmation code you received online/via email. Although I'm sure you can just as easily complete the process by talking to the receptionist in person and paying there. If you don't have any luggage then you won't need a bellboy. Personally, I'd recommend bringing an overnight bag to avoid suspicion but it shouldn't be a big deal. Usually a maid comes in during the afternoon the following day, but if you bolt the door and put a do not disturb sign then that should not happen.

I live in hotels 50% of the year due to work and I can ensure you that it'd take a lot of work for you to come off as suspicious. They've most likely seen all kinds of different people check in and out.

I've stayed in 200+ different hotels and not once have I've ever seen a bellboy, that seems to be a movie or boujee hotel thing. If they ask you about not having luggage, just tell them you're going to leave it in the car because you're only staying one night.

It's very unlikely for them to come to your room after you check-in until the next morning when they come to make your bed up and take your garbage. But almost all hotels will have some type of "do not disturb" thing you can hang on your outside doorknob. They won't even attempt to knock if they see that.

As for checking-in, you just tell them you have a reservation, tell them the name it will be under. They'll most likely ask you for a credit card for room charges and incidentals (broken stuff, smoking in a non-smoking room).

Some hotels will call your room or cell phone, sometimes even text you to ask you if everything is up to par or if you need anything, if you don't answer they won't care, just a stupid thing they have to do.

Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. "That's me, here's my credit card, give me my key and fuck off"
