I was wondering about something. Some of us don't want our death to cause us to be looked down on by others. Something I was wondering is if it is even possible to induce cancer, and what would it be like to die from it

Like I know smoking and what not causes it. But the problem with that is it takes way way way way too long. And I know radiation can cause it much more quickly, but I doubt anyone has access to anything like that.

I suppose if you suddenly started smoking multiple packs a day you'd probably get it soon enough.

Ya but most people can live for decades doing that. Some it doesn't kill them at all. I mean some can withstand it for 60+ years.

Dying from cancer is really painful. I've seen so many cancer patients in my family suffer for months before dying.

How is it painful? Like can you get into more detail? Also, is it the treatment or the cancer itself that is causing pain?

Yeah, I've considered this but pretty much all the available methods to induce cancer would take years. Unless you worked in a field where you had easy access to radiation, but that's effort.

I don't know honestly what was causing the pain. It depends on the type of cancer and if it's pressing on nerves or not. Some people also can't tolerate chemo or radiotherapy.
I just know that my aunt who had liver cancer couldn't barely eat nor walk and also felt constant pain in her abdomen for 2 months before she died.

you'd be better off getting in a car "accident" or going on a hike at the Grand Canyon and "falling" accidentally off a 1,000 foot drop. Getting cancer on purpose is going to be hard and even if you did get cancer it would be horrific and slow.

You can try to induce it all you want, but that doesn't mean you'll get it. Cancer cells work in mysterious ways.

This will take years to work, so why subject yourself to the burning sensation from acid reflux for years ?

Well there's a few ways, I know asbestos can cause silicosis, smoking causes throat and lung cancers, radiation does a few things.

But if I have to be honest, lethal doses of radiation is not the way to go. If you're lucky it will just be cancer, but in high amounts it will slowly turn you to jelly.

Cancer is immensely painful and depending on the type of cancer you get you can still be here for years. I couldn't wish it on anyone. One of my moms (I had two) died of breast cancer that went everywhere, my moms best friend has blood cancer and my grandma might have bowel cancer. due to genetics my mom and I are going to be super prone to getting bowel cancer later as my biological granddad also had bowel cancer.

it's an extremely inefficient and painful way to go even if it could be realistically done, cancer is not currently a thing we can easily control. it has no master. Maybe one day but not yet.

likewise it presents in so many different ways you might end up tired or otherwise unable to use other methods and there's your chance gone

hell you might already have it and just not know. that's the thing.

not a good way to go honestly. i considered as well and looked for carcinogenic substances, and tho there are a lot of them, they usually require long term exposure and the process till death tend to be extremely painful. plus nothing can guarantee that you will actually get cancer, you might just get extremely sick and not die. or maybe, depending on the type of cancer it could be treatable.

Maybe talk to Nxvim cult leader Keith Raniere:

Homicide speculation
A number of Raniere's alleged lovers suffered untimely deaths. Gina Hutchinson was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head. Kristin Snyder disappeared and was last seen at a NXIVM event.[88] Live-in girlfriends Barbara Jeske and Pam Cafritz both died from what was diagnosed as cancer at the time, but is alleged to have actually been subtle poisoning.[89] Raniere partner Kristin Keeffe survived cervical cancer. In 2009, Raniere was filmed claiming "I've had people killed because of my beliefs."[88]

In 2019, Investigation Discovery aired a documentary titled "The Lost Women of NXIVM", speculating that Raniere committed homicide. According to that program, a woman who lived with Raniere and developed bladder cancer submitted a hair sample – that sample reportedly revealed the evidence of dangerous levels of bismuth and barium.[88][89]

I have a disease that has multiple strains. I have 3 of them. All 3 cause cancer. Lucky me. They already caught and got the cancer 3 years ago. I may be neglecting going back to the doc for check ups... ok more like haven't been in 2 years.

A movie has this line given by a cancer patient... Somewhere some lucky bastard is having a heart attack.
It would be faster (and tastier) to eat bacon until you die. Cancer is an improbable method.

Or.... frequent nude beaches for full body sun exposure to maximize cancer potential, and cook daily batches of bacon.

The joke of life is you can drink green shakes and pump water to clean your colon, and still get colon cancer.
You can also eat fast food, abuse substances even eat poisons and not get colon cancer.
The universe does what's it does. Don't try.

Passive suicide doesn't work, it only makes things worse in many ways. Smoking, drinking and drugs have no guarantee of killing you, no matter how much you do it. They do have a very high chance of causing horrible long term effects and cost a lot of money though. I can't really say not to do any of those things because I've been there, but doing it with the hope of it killing you isn't a good idea.

I wouldn't count on it as there probably isn't a reliable way to quickly induce cancer (except by exposing oneself to extremely high radation levels) and dying from cancer is a horrible, painful and long drawn-out process (my own grandfather died of lung cancer so I have some idea). Plus if you have a history of mental illness they could probably force you to undergo treatment for cancer as you could be deemed unfit to refuse medical treatment. Which given the advances in medical science could quite possible lead to saving your life.
