India attacks Pakistan - could this trigger WW3 or will this be a regional conflict

I am watching Champions League Football on a Pakistan website with my VPN. So I have to root for Pakistan in this conflict. Is this how international relations and globalisation works?

Both have nukes that's for sure. And it might be triggered by the destabilized geopolitical world order. There might will come many more wars. Dark times we live in.

India has a no-first-use policy regarding nukes, and while Pakistan has (deliberately) never publicly commented on their policy, it is highly unlikely that they would use nuclear warheads considering the state of their country.

As with other conflicts in the past, it's much more likely that this goes on for the next few weeks before things eventually go back to normal between these countries, that is, until the next inevitable terrorist attack a few years down the line.

Of course, it's too early to comment on anything right now...

I don't believe it'll go nuclear, however in terms of it staying regional, I'm apprehensive of it leading to violence here in mainland Britain. We have large Indian and Pakistani communities in most major cities and an under strength and mainly ineffective Police service.

I'm more worried about the proxy wars for this being fought in the parts of the world where Indians and Pakistani people have settled. Maybe they'll just protest which I guess would be fine.

One of my best friends is Indian so I guess that's the side I'm on.

I'm gonna be blunt. Pakistan has been in bed too long with terrorists. They can't dissociate themselves from them even if they want. They are a bad penny now. We Indians tried to help them for years but they kept trying to hurt us like a jealous ex. It's beyond control now.
