My current plan involves drowning. However, I've done enough research to know drowning is one of the harder methods to pull off because people tend to immediately go for the surface when they start to panic.
In theory if I took a ton of melatonin beforehand to knock myself out would the potential cold water prevent me from passing out? Would survival instincts wake me back up before anything could happen? Should I take extra precautions of finding a way to weigh myself down incase I do wake up? Should I take something aside from melatonin as well?
I don't want to take risks and I also don't want to change methods due to this method being chosen because of location rather than the method itself. The location has much emotional relevance to me and there's no other way to commit there.
