I'm soooo tired

Life has become increasingly hard since I started transitioning nearly 3 years ago. My wife divorced me and took the house and our 3 kids. My family disowned me. I figured I would lose some of them but losing everything really suprised me. I pass fairly well, have a decent job and a girlfriend whom I love but its just not enough to make me want to stay. I miss my family, my kids and my ex-wife. I dont know how to fill that hole in my heart. Thanks for reading,

This is awful for you. I'm glad you have a girlfriend and a job that's decent, but I hear that it's not enough. Your family's decision to disown you is a shame on them- I hope you don't hold it as your shame. I also hope you get time with your kids before they go so they know how much you love them. Hopefully you still have legal standing and can get rights to see/visit with your kids if you don't already at least. I'm sure they'd rather have you in their life to some extent if possible. Best wishes going forward, whatever you decide to do. I'm sorry you're so tired and nothing has been enough yet, I was just hit with worse exhaustion than usual a few moments ago and it reminded me how consuming it can be.

At the time my ex was very supportive or I wouldn't have. That changed once I publicly came out a year and a half later. Guessing her religious family had alot to do with that because within a month she had filed for divorce...

Im sorry for your pain. Wish I could fill that void in your heart. Think about the people who love you and let go of the ones who disowned you. I know how that feels, I have no contact with my parents for years. A big hug.

It just sucks so bad, its like I've already died in their eyes when I'm still right here. Thank you for the kind words though. So grateful to find a place like this.

your feeling is understandable. You have been transitioning for 3 years and you expected to see fruits for your effort just to see your ex turn her back on you! you've come so far. Keep going!
